Namibia: Etosha National Park
Etosha is the third largest national park in the world. Due to scarce water sources, animals usually come to water holes to drink, so, unlike on safaris in other African countries, where you have to drive around in search for animals, in Etosha you come to water holes and wait in a safari vehicle to photograph the animals that visit them to survive. Sometimes you also see animals, and birds especially, in the bushes around. Various water holes near Etosha Pan attract different mixes of animals, so moving from one hole to another during a day you can see an enormous variety of species. Some holes located near lodges are lighted at night, which allows you to see nocturnal activities, not easily spotted at day time.
